Here I am, about 30 hours away from being on my way to the airport, about 50 away from staging, and by the end of the week, I'll be living with my host family in Lesotho! I absolutely cannot believe how fast the time has gone since I found out less than two months ago. I've been spending ever possible moment with friends and family and trying to stuff myself with every last bit of the foods I know I'll miss the most... It's going to be really hard saying goodbye and although I know I'll miss you all very much, I really do think that this will be one of the most fantastic experiences of my life :)
It's been very weird trying to pack my things together for life abroad for the next two years. I already know I've packed far too many clothes but I think I'll leave them all the same. The one thing that I am worried about is navigating my way around the airport with a gigantor backpack strapped to me ><
I have no idea what my internet or electricity situation will be like once I get there, but I hope to be able to post in this blog on a semi regular basis! Make sure to write to me if you can!
